GILDE – Ihr Partner für das Lebensmittelhandwerk eG (formerly known as ZENTRAG eG) is one of the most established cooperatives in the European food trade. Today, it unites 38 regional organizations across the DACH region, with around 19,000 businesses benefiting from specialized products, expertise, and services.
For several years, we’ve worked closely with the client to improve visibility, simplify processes, and strategically grow their digital services.
One major focus was the online shop, offering a wide range of products (from machinery, food items to workwear). We focused on strengthening the site’s on-page foundation by fixing technical issues, optimizing metadata, and refining internal links.
The shop also received a boost in terms of SEO. We developed an effective workflow and created content for product, category, and landing pages – always in close collaboration with the GILDE team and tailored to the needs of their target audience.
We ran Google Ads campaigns that we continuously tested and adjusted. This allowed us to steadily expand digital reach and position the brand’s products where potential customers are actively looking.
In addition, we implemented web and campaign tracking with GA4 and Google Tag Manager, assisted with the website relaunch, and developed multiple platforms (including zentrag.de).
Regular reports and detailed analyses provided clarity throughout the process – forming the basis for next steps, new ideas, and measurable results.
Our collaboration with GILDE proved that tradition and digital relevance aren’t mutually exclusive – in fact, they can complement each other.
